The Institute is a professional and examining body representing Cost and Executive Accountants. It promotes the study and adoption of scientific methods in industrial and commercial enterprise, local government, public service and internal audit streams. The Institute is the only accounting body which provides training to produce financial decision-makers and teaches management auditing. There are two grades of membership, Fellows and Associated, who are entitled to designate themselves as "Incorporated Executive Accountant" and to use the letters FCEA and ACEA respectively.
