All limited companies have to prepare Corporation Tax returns and pay Corporation Tax. Failure to do so can result in heavy penalties from HM Revenue & Customs.
We ensure that your Returns are prepared accurately and on time.
When we prepare Corporation Tax returns for our clients we make sure that every allowable expense is included to minimise the amount of tax due. We will also advise on the best way to use the various reliefs available to further minimise the tax bill.
We make sure you know when your return is due, how much your company has to pay and when to pay it.
Our software will produce your accounts and Corporation Tax Returns in the iXBRL format required for online filing by HM Revenue & Customs. We do this so you don’t have to.

Very efficient and professional service. So pleased we found you James, the detailed reports provided by Accountancy Edge, are more than helpful. Our business strategies are essential and wouldn’t be possible without these reports. Highly recommended.

Whether you're just starting up in businesses or have been trading for some as a sole trader or partnership, it might be appropriate to trade through a limited company. We can advise on whether there are any tax saving available to you through using a limited company (we do this for all of our unincorporated clients every year).
We can make sure you minimise your personal and Corporation Tax bills using effective planning. There are many ways that tax bills can be reduced but your affairs have to be structured in certain ways before any tax advantages can be gained. It is no good knowing about an opportunity after the event. We'll help you make sure that everything is structured in the right way to take advantage of the opportunities. The opportunities available to reduce tax are very situation dependent. What is a good strategy for one person may not be for another.
Almost any business with revenues exceeding 79,000 in the previous 12 months must register for VAT. Most VAT registered businesses must submit quarterly VAT returns. We understand exactly what must be declared on the VAT returns, what VAT must be paid over and what VAT can be reclaimed. Many small business owners do their own VAT returns without a full understanding of this and this often leads to problems of mis-declared VAT. If you want to prepare your own VAT Returns we carry out a several checks for errors as part of our accounts preparation service each year.
Following the closure of regional Business Link offices in 2011, the ICAEW launched its Business Advice Service (BAS). The scheme offers support to new businesses by providing a free advice session with a qualified ICAEW Chartered Accountant. If you are starting up in business and want to build solid foundations for your future success then we'll help you to evaluate your plans in a constructive and realistic manner.
