Our service is Xero or Sage Bookkeeping together with Management Accounts + a Payroll bureau - that's on the tin and nothing else. Not just Bookkeeping and not just Management Accounts but the two together. This is what differentiates us from a firm of bookkeepers or a firm of accountants. We guarantee that every set of our Management Accounts is both thoroughly checked and issued personally by a qualified accountant - we have eight in our team but we never act as a firm of accountants. Our stunning and unique advantage is the way we report - "I would give you the world for that information" as one new client told us.


What's unique about BookCheck is that every set of accounts is both thoroughly checked and then signed personally by a qualified accountant (eight in our team) but we never handle Year End statutory accounts, Self Assessment, Corporation tax, business advice etc. We produce the quality MI but we do not use it to sit down with clients to guide or advise - that's your role. Generally clients handle the whole of the Sales Ledger, Order Processing, Stock Control and we handle the whole of the Purchase Ledger, Bank and Month End.


Purchase invoices and payments, bank transactions, petty cash, credit cards, factoring, accruals & prepayments and all month-end entries. Reconciliation of everything possible including bank, VAT, PAYE and suppliers' statements. Clients handle any stock or order processing, create sales invoices, input the sales receipts and chase debtors. Optionally we can assist with the sales ledger. We will convert any system to Xero or Sage. Often such a change saves '000s every year as the old system can be costly in comparison, not only in maintenance but in much greater staff time required to run the system.
