Charles trained with Price Waterhouse in London and qualified as a chartered accountant in 1972. After qualifying, he spent two years in the firm's Special Services Department, looking after a large number of newly incorporated and small business clients. Since then he has worked as a financial director in the printing industry and later in commodities. Charles obtained his accountancy Practising Certificate in 1983, and set up Competex in 2000. Prabh is an ACCA member with BA (Hons). He has 13 years' experience working in an accountancy practice environment, offering tax planning and advice for Individuals, Companies, Unincorporated businesses and Trusts.

Competex provides a stand-alone payroll service for clients who may not wish to take the full accounting package. This service is suitable for sole traders, limited companies and limited liability partnerships. We will ensure your payroll is processed in a timely and accurate manner, whilst ensuring full legislative compliance in all PAYE and auto enrolment related matters. We can process your payroll on a weekly, fortnightly or monthly basis, with monthly being the most common amongst clients.
