We are a two-partner independent practice that has been providing a wide range of accountancy services for over 25 years. Paul Perlin established the firm in 1979; Faustino Franco joined in 1994 and has been a partner since 1997. Over the years the practice has grown organically - almost entirely thanks to referrals from satisfied clients. Today around a dozen people work in our north London offices, and we have further staff specialising in bookkeeping and payroll.

We are a wide-ranging general practice with experience in all the areas you'd expect of long-established accountants. Of course, we conduct audits and process accounts for companies and charities. We prepare accounts for self-employed businesses, whether sole traders or partnerships.
But we do much more besides. Our associates include specialist payroll and bookkeeping bureaux, and commercial insurance brokers. We can advise on company formation and new business start-ups. We can help with your business plan and cash flow, with investment appraisal and risk management. In short, we can provide support in every aspect of running a business.

From Our Website
We are Chartered Accountants based in Finchley Central, North London with the expertise and experience of dealing with clients in a wide range of business sectors. We look for the best option available to suit your specific accountancy requirements.
In accordance with the disclosure requirements of the Provision of Services Regulations 2009, our professional indemnity insurers are Markel (UK) Ltd, Verity House, 6 Canal Wharf, Leeds, LS11 5AS. The territorial coverage is worldwide excluding professional business carried out from an office in the United States of America or Canada and excludes any action for a claim bought in any court in the United States of America or Canada. The alternate to administer the client bank account in the event of the death or incapacity of the principal is Faustino Franco.
We have many years of experience in helping new companies get off the ground. From the very start, we can help you decide on your business structure - whether to function as a sole trader, a partnership, a limited company or a cooperative. Then we can help you prepare a business plan, assist you with cashflow projections, budgets and trading forecasts, advise you on the best sources of finance, and help you establish a good working relationship with your bank. We can also act as your company's registered address and provide whatever company secretarial services you need.
By law, every company must have a Company Secretary, whose job is to ensure that the business complies with company legislation and regulations, and to keep directors informed of their legal responsibilities. A company must also have a registered office address, to which official correspondence and notices are sent. Perlin Franco can act as the registered office for your company, and we can also undertake any or all of your company secretarial tasks. Our expert team have long experience of company secretarial work in a wide range of industry sectors and services.
We have been advising companies for over 27 years, helping a broad range of clients and amassing a wealth of practical experience. Naturally, much of the help we give to growing companies revolves around money: looking after the accounts, dealing with tax affairs, advising on raising finance, and also helping with risk management - assessing the financial risks involved in your business, putting sensible financial management measures in place to control them, and making sure these work in practice.
We can relieve you and your staff of an enormous burden by taking care of all your bookkeeping and accounting needs. First we work with you to gain a full understanding of your business. Then we tailor our approach so we can provide exactly the service you need. Perhaps the most important part of this service is the preparation of management accounts. These are vital to the continued success of your business. We can explain your requirements and provide you with tailored information and constructive advice on a regular basis, as well as preparing and auditing your accounts.
Accountancy today is almost entirely based on computerised records. We have the hardware, the software and the know-how to deal with your accounts the most reliable and effective way, to prepare digital tax returns and deliver documents to Companies House online. We have experience of a number of popular accounting software packages, including Sage, QuickBooks and MYOB. If you use any of these, we can handle your files with ease. If you don't, but would like to, we are happy to advise on the appropriate system for you, to help set it up and maintain it, and to train you or your staff in using it.
We aim to provide a high standard of service to our clients, and a key feature of this is frequent, friendly communication. We encourage clients to contact us whenever they have any queries, and we make no charge for partners' time spent dealing with routine day-to-day enquiries. We welcome clients who want their accountant to be involved in their organisation's growth and development. This means contact with our team during the year as we regularly review your management accounts, help to improve your internal accounting systems, and provide routine tax and VAT advice.
