Edinburgh-based accountant, Alasdair MacLean, has won the Runner Up Award for ‘Accountant of the Year’ 2010 in recognition of his outstanding performance over the past year.

Alasdair, who won the ‘Accountant of the Year Award’ last year, faced tough competition this year - TaxAssist Accountants now has over 170 accountants (and growing!) and is the UK’s largest network of tax & accountancy specialists for small businesses.

Alasdair has provided specialist tax and accountancy services for small business owners since 2005 and opened his third shop this year. Supported by a team of 11 staff Alasdair now works with business across Edinburgh, Fairmilehead, Dalkeith and Musselburgh.
