Thompson Moore - Peterborough

The firm was formed in 1988 on the merger of Moore & Price and Thompson & Co - both long established Spalding Chartered Accounting firms. The Moore & Price practice, established over eighty years ago, was originally known as Stephenson Smart & Co. In the first forty years of the 20th century, Joseph Stephenson, the founder member of the practice established over thirty practices from a head office in Peterborough. Tony Moore, the first Senior Partner in Moore Thompson, was engaged in this practice for almost fifty years.
