Butler & Co was established in 1986 by the Founder Julie Butler from her home in Bramdean and today, we continue to build our local and national reputation for providing excellent advice and first class service to all our business and personal clients alike. From starting the business in 1986, Julie's vision for Butler & Co has always been to combine providing proactive accounts and tax planning advice and more recently Probate, Trusts and Estates advice, whilst maintaining a high level of client care and communication.

After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant in 1980, I founded Butler & Co Chartered Accountants in 1986 from our farmhouse, and then set up the Alresford office in 1992. I am a director of the Company with a focus on farm and equine tax matters using a lot of my research as the author of Tax Planning for Farm and Land Diversification (now on its 6th edition) when dealing with client matters.
