Aiman Khan
Senior Accountant
Aiman joined Cottons as a Semi-Senior Accountant in October 2024 and quickly qualified as a Senior Accountant in 2025. Based in the Northampton office, he is Xero certified and holds a degree in Accounting and Finance from Anglia Ruskin University, graduating in 2012. Aiman began his career in industry and transitioned to practice in 2019, previously working at a top 100 firm in Peterborough.

Alice Collins-Markham
Senior Accountant
Alice joined Cottons in August 2022, as part of the acquisition of J R Watson & Co, she had been with them since leaving school and completed her AAT apprenticeship whilst there. She worked her way up from junior level, gaining skills in a variety of areas, and now has over a decade of experience. Alices role includes working on accounts and tax and she is also part of our audit team; she enjoys meeting with and talking to clients and is always happy to assist where possible with any queries they may have.

Ashleigh Musgrove
Tax Senior
Ashleigh joined Cottons in December 2022 as a Tax Senior and works in our Northampton office. She initially completed a degree in Psychology at Coventry University before starting her career in Personal Tax. Ashleigh has since gained 5 years experience working in personal tax compliance for a top 10 firm and specialises in the completion of self-assessment tax returns.

Basit Abdul Latif
Senior Accountant
Basit an ACCA Finalist and MSc Accountancy and Finance qualified accountant joined Cottons in Feb 2022 as a Senior Accountant on a part-time basis and now working full-time with them from Feb 2023.
He has worked previously as a Senior Accountant in Pearl Chartered Accountants for 7 months. Also, as a Senior Accountant for 25 months at Base Practice Support Ltd. His background is mostly working on the preparation of YE Statutory Accounts, VAT returns, Management Accounts and Bookkeeping of SMEs. Also works on preparation of Personal Tax Returns.

Charles Hill
Partner
Charles has built up considerable experience over the past 10 years specialising in advising and assisting entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses with their forward strategy and compliance requirements. Charles qualified as an ICAEW Chartered Accountant with Cottons in 2016 after graduating with a degree in Economics, and after a 5 year stint working with a portfolio of SMEs in a variety of sectors at a top 12 firm, returned to Cottons in 2022 to contribute to its continued expansion.
