I have been working with Beansprout for well over a year now and they are a far cry from the 'once a year' accountant I was used to.
Beansprout give me an enormous amount of information and are always happy to explain anything I don't understand. I probably complicated things a little for them by running 2 business, one as a sole trader and the other as a limited company - while I was fairly clear on the sole trader account, the limited company has only recently started and is a very different way of working for me. I am very aware that I am still learning the ropes!
Helen and Kevin are very patient and their whole way of working is to ensure that you not only know your numbers but understand what they are telling you, so that you are able to make strategic plans for the future. I have learned so much in the last year, and it has increased my confidence in my ability to make decisions and back up those decisions with proper financials.
I would absolutely recommend Beansprout to anyone looking for an accountant who will get to know your business by getting to know you and treating you like a friend, whilst also giving great financial advice.

I came away, having met some great women business owners, with a clear action plan of what I need to do to get my business where I want it to be. No question is too silly for Helen. She educated me patiently (and without judgement) on book keeping matters, set me up on a very easy to use system and helped me with a financial business strategy going forward. She is very prompt to respond to messages, and explains everything in ways I can understand. I would definitely recommend her to anyone, especially to those who are daunted by business accounting. I have felt very supported and even now our original package is over, I still feel that she is just a quick email or phone call away, should I have any questions.
