Services
As a firm PJD Tax has a wealth of experience in expatriate tax matters in both the big four accounting firms (based in both the UK and US) and industry, we are able to provide a wide range of expatriate consulting services. Warwick left Ernst & Young back in 2001 to join PJD Tax and has been with us ever since.
We specialise in UK and US taxation for individuals who are working away from their home country, dealing with the full range of tax issues associated with expatriate individuals, from Tax Return compliance to simple or complex tax consulting issues. Our services are not only limited to expatriate individuals, we also deal with the tax affairs of a significant number of UK nationals.
We have a straightforward fee structure at PJD tax which is based on the complexity of the tax return. We also charge separately for additional forms that are required to be filed with US tax returns. There are a few examples detailed below with their associated fees. It is important to discuss the fee with your consultant prior to commencing preparation of the tax return.
US and UK tax laws are constantly being updated. We believe that clients should always be aware of changes that may affect them. We have therefore written a number of articles based on current legislation which may be of interest. This information should not be taken as full comprehensive advice and we highly recommend that you contact a PJD tax representative for more information. This article discusses how the exchange on the date of purchase and sale of a foreign asset can affect the size of a gain in a local currency.
